My client, a highly respected top tier Investment bank, has a permanent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to secure a role which will rapidly expand their accounting skills, and rigorously test their analytical ability.
Financial Control is part of a global function within this highly complex organisation. It is mainly responsible for the month end financial and management reporting, year-end financial statements, payroll, expense analysis and management, corporate systems development and balance sheet management. The successful candidate can expect to gain maximum exposure to all areas of the bank, whilst playing a pivotal role monitoring the cross-functional control environment, producing key metrics and driving individual control projects. As part of a large team, your role will specifically involve producing financial and management reports for the Financial Control team, whilst closely liasing and supporting all areas of Product Control, Operations, Regulatory, Tax, Treasury and Expense Management departments.
Ideally you will be a newly qualified CIMA*ACCA Accountant, with a related honours degree, and have strong systems experience and an understanding of financial markets.
